I’m your author, Stephen Rylander: software architect, developer, team leader, coder, husband, father, friend and general contrarian.

I enjoy the interactive process of building software to make a difference in whatever business I’m in.  In my career it’s been as varied as pop music/culture for a major music brand and as serious as b2b e-commerce doing billions of dollars of transactions.

I especially like the juxtaposition of helping to grow business with software compared with my love of object oriented and dynamic language programming.  Being able to go back and forth is exciting and I know I’m lucky to work in a field I’m passionate about.

Forming a mobile strategy or discussing middleware packages is really my idea of a good time.
